About Inspections
Over 5,000 Families In the North Carolina Triangle area Have Chosen VIP Home Inspection Services For Their Home Inspection Since 2003!
Here’s Why:
Because we provide our Clients the “Information” and “Education” they need to make an informed decision about the property being inspected in a Clear, Concise, Professional Manner, using custom Computerized Reports with Photographs.
In other words, we provide our Clients “Peace of Mind!“
How we do it !!
Our North Carolina licensed Inspectors will spend 1-5 hours inspecting most properties depending on size, age, condition, location, accessibility and weather. Smaller and newer houses go faster then bigger and older. We will discuss all of our findings at the end of the inspection with a full color high-resolution video presentation. If we need to, we will walk with you to items and discussing them together. We will explain to you where to shut off electrical, water and gas utilities. We will answer any questions you may have about the property. You will know more about the property than the current owner once the inspection is completed. Even after you get the report you may call your inspector if other questions come to mind later. A written report with full color high-resolution photographs will be available within 3 business days, usually the next business day, when possible. We want you to be successful.
We’ll not only inspect the property, but during the video presentation we’ll share with you any important maintenance items. You will be a much more informed buyer. Don’t worry, we’ll explain everything in everyday terms, in a calm fashion. We are a “Jargon Free” Company! No fancy industry terms. Stop us if there is something you do not understand.
You may come to the inspection at any time, but if you have a busy schedule, you may come towards the end and will not miss anything. If you are a more experienced or out of town, then relax and wait for the report.
Our Report!!
Our report software is provided by the industry recognized leader in home inspections software. Most of our competition is using word or pdf files that are slow to download and clog up your email. We upload our reports to a cloud server and send you an email with a link and password. You can then go online and view or print the report. You can even email a link to a 3rd party for discussion. The report will stay on our server 3 years and is backed up nightly.
Let Me Mention One Other Issue:
Unfortunately, North Carolina and especially Wake county is in the EPA’s Highest Radon Zones. Not many people, including most Real Estate Professionals, are aware of this issue.
Radon gas is a toxic gas that seeps into homes through the foundations. And it doesn’t matter if your home is built on a basement, crawlspace or a slab, this deadly gas can seep in and it doesn’t matter if it’s brand new construction or a 50 year old home.
It’s estimated that Radon Gas kills 24,000 Americans each and every year. As a matter of fact, Radon Gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer, only second to cigarette smoking.
The good news is that Radon Gas can be detected with a simple test and if the home you’re purchasing has elevated levels of Radon Gas, it can be easily fixed. The key to the issue is Getting A Radon Test, then you know if the problem exists and if so, to what degree.
Please know that I personally would not live in a home in North Carolina that had not been tested for Radon Gas!

How Flexible Is Your Schedule?
We know that your schedule is very hectic so we work hard to accommodate you!
Each of our Inspectors conducts two inspections a day, one at 9 am and the second one at 2 pm. This allows ample time for us to do the thorough, quality job you expect and get to our next appointment on time. Our competitors are doing 3 - 5 inspections a day. This does not allow ample time for good customer service that we believe is essential to this process.
Because not every one can attend the inspection during the week, we can also schedule a weekend inspection for an additional fee. Our weekend inspection schedule is limited, so please let our scheduler know as soon as possible that you need a weekend inspection. We’ll do our best to accommodate you!
